Conditions in Iraq
From our discussion in class today, I was most interested in the influence that the Arab-Israeli conflict had on improving conditions in Iraq. America needs to realize that it’s not only what’s going on in the country that is important, but also what surrounds the nation is crucial. Ultimately, with less chaos in the borderline countries, there could potentially be less problems in the country. As the report we read today in class discussed, ” the most important questions about Iraq’s future are now the responsibility of the Iraqis”. America can do as much or as little as they want, but ultimately its up to the natives of the country to foster positive change.
